National Escrow Manager

This position is responsible for managing all Escrow offices.  They will be responsible for the trust accounting procedures in each office location and staff adherence to all trust accounting requirements.  This position will also be responsible for answering escrow questions, auditing files, and dealing with auditors, both internal and external.

A Day in the Life...

  • Oversees all Escrow officers, processors and closers in all states where Escrow and Title operations are established.
  • Interfaces with accountants for any reconciliation issues.
  • Establishes escrow account by depositing funds; maintaining records.
  • Closes escrow transactions by adhering and enforcing adherence, to all applicable regulations.
  • Updates and enhances job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Assists in staffing.
  • Genuinely adheres to strict code of honor, integrity and a great work ethic.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You'll score brownie points for...

  • Must have 8-10 years of escrow experience.
  • Must be proficient in all local escrow and title regulations, including all pillars of ALTA Best Practices.
  • Must be willing to travel and spend time at all states where the company is doing business.
  • Must be willing to learn escrow and title customs and procedures prevalent in each current state and future states as expansion occurs.
  • Must be willing to be a member of all states escrow association as well as become a member of the American Escrow Association.  In conjunction with the membership, need to attend all local and some out-of-state meetings, as needed.
  • Escrow Officer Certification from the Escrow Association or completion of escrow officer training program by a qualified title company
  • High school diploma or equivalent
