This position is responsible for the recording, accounting, and analysis of accounting matters, including consolidations (intercompany allocations, eliminations, and reporting), equity transactions, payroll, and other compensation and benefit programs, and technical accounting topics within the corporate ledger. This position provides analytical support to management in connection with the corporate ledger as well as global consolidations. Job includes some project work on more technical areas as they arise.


What you'll do...

  • Preparing the monthly Balance Sheet and Income statements and managing the chart of accounts
  • Run currency revaluation and translation of all entities.
  • Perform Multi-level Intercompany transactions and analysis.
  • Accounting for all equity transactions, journals and reconciliations, including unique compensation arrangements.
  • Payroll recording, reconciliation, and coordination with HR
  • Coordinate and run monthly intercompany allocations.
  • Accounting for foreign currency-based equity-method investments.
  • Monthly account reconciliations and analysis for assigned accounts.
  • Preparation of internal management reporting and external reporting schedules.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc analysis and special projects as requested.
  • Assist with quarterly, interim and year-end audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Who you are...

BA/BS degree with 5-7 years of general ledger accounting experience, ideally in the service or real estate industry

CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred. Advanced accounting knowledge will be considered.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, risk and controls standards and business process best practices.

Attention to detail and strong organization skills a must.

NetSuite experience strongly preferred.

Proficiency with Excel, Word and other Office Products with the ability and desire to look at innovative options in technology

Work comfortably in a fast paced, unpredictable environment where changing priorities may occur frequently based on operational needs

Have strong communication and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various levels of personnel across the organization

Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies and a demonstrated drive to tackle new projects as they arise
